Why this page exists East Wind is itself a research product, one live test of an idea about coordination, capture and institutions, being carried out in a real place under real conditions. This page is where that research, and everything it grows into, lives in public: our own hypothesis, ground reports from the work itself, outside scholarship, media, and data as it comes in. Nothing here is separate from East Wind's actual work. It is the record of it.
